Head in Heaven, Feet on the Earth.
"I am with you on this one. 'Head in Heaven, Feet on the Earth,' describes how I feel. Back in my wild puppy-dog days I was in a Bar drinking my favorite brew when these two young ladies stopped by and sat down at my table. They were with a spiritual movement called "The Way," a fundamental Christian group. Well, as they were both cute and I was feeling spunky, I said that it was all well and good what they were saying, but obviously there was no God. This of course set the stage for a lengthy and heated discussion! The long story short...we closed down the bar and went out into the country where they were staying and discussed this till 4 AM standing alongside my car. When the last young lady went in. I stepped away from my car and stretched myself, arms moving upwards. In that instant I kept on expanding upward and downward until I felt my hands mingle with the stars and my feet warmed at the Earth's core! It stunned me for a moment...as it felt very real to me...then this world's restraints returned and I chalked it up as a fitting end to a rather unusual evening...(grin) Years later I was in Denny's Resteraunt writing in my spiritual journal and agonizing over the dire streights I was in at that time. As I was feeling the deepest anguish I perceived a subtle shift in the energy around me. This catching my attention I began to scan for its source. I then became aware that there was an energy field rising up from the ground beneath me and beginning to cover me. When this was complete, I heard one voice (which contained the feeling of many) saying to me..."Welcome, you who have your hands in the sky and your feet in the Earth, welcome once again!" So, when I heard the description title for my first choice bottle, it was like another confirmation of these inner experiences. So let mine remain with these words... "Head in Heaven, Feet on the Earth."
